Making homes more comfortable for over 30 years

Utah Energy Pros handles the work that reduces home energy waste: heat pumps, duct sealing, insulation, windows, and weatherstripping. We plan it in the right order and test it when we're done.

Our Services

Energy Efficiency Services

Six services that cover the biggest sources of energy waste in a home.

Technician installing a hybrid heat pump water heater in a garage

Heat Pump Water Heaters

A hybrid heat pump water heater uses a fraction of the energy of a standard electric tank. We make sure the unit is sized for your household and installed correctly.

Technician checking an outdoor heat pump unit with a manifold gauge

Heat Pump AC & Furnace

Modern cold-climate heat pumps handle heating and cooling in one system. They hold up fine in Utah winters and typically cost less to run than an aging furnace and AC.

Technician sealing a duct joint with mastic in an attic

Duct Testing & Sealing

Leaky ducts waste a surprising amount of the air you pay to heat and cool. We pressure test the system, find the leaks, and seal them.

Installers fitting new weatherstripping along a door frame

Weatherstripping

Drafty doors and windows make rooms hard to keep comfortable. Good weatherstripping and air sealing take care of the gaps that cause it.

Two installers setting a new double-pane window

Window Replacement

New energy-rated windows cut heat loss in winter and keep rooms cooler in summer. We measure carefully and install them so they seal the way they should.

Worker blowing insulation across attic joists

Insulation

Most older homes in Utah are underinsulated. We bring attics and walls up to modern standards, which makes a bigger difference than most people expect.

Thirty years in the trade

Our team has spent thirty years in home energy efficiency, working on all kinds of homes in all kinds of climates around the country. Now we do that work here in Utah.

We're tradespeople, not salespeople. The work gets measured, tested, and finished to the same standard we'd want in our own homes.

How a project goes

Home energy audit tools on a workbench

Assess

We look at insulation levels, air leakage, duct condition, and equipment to find out where the home is losing energy.

Seal & Insulate

Sealing comes first. That means weatherstripping, duct sealing, and insulation where the home needs it.

Upgrade

Once the house is tightened up, new equipment like heat pumps and water heaters can be sized correctly and will run the way it should.

Verify

We test the finished work and walk you through what was done before we leave.
